Bright Blessings’ 3rd Annual Celebrate the Children Soiree and Silent Auction

CHARLOTTE, NC  OH, WHAT A NIGHT!!!  Bright Blessings’ Celebrate the Children 3^rdAnnual Soiree & Silent Auction was a huge success!  The event was held at The Speedway Club at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 5^th.  The evening was filled with great food, guest speakers with touching stories, silent auction items and a victory lap candy bar.  The highlight of the evening was a live auction trip to New York that included a 3 night stay in an apartment on 5^th Avenue, 2 airfare vouchers courtesy of AirTran and 2 tickets to a Broadway Show.  The event’s emcee, Larry Sprinkle from WCNC, had the crowd bidding back and forth with a final bid over $3,000.

A big thank you goes to our sponsors, auction donors, pastry partners, board members, volunteers, Pat Heiss and her staff at The Speedway Club and especially, our co-chairs for the event, Mandy Ravin and Marni Eisner.  Their dedication and hard work made the night a huge success.  The money raised will help support the programs of Bright Blessings and put smiles on hundreds of homeless children’s faces across the Charlotte region.
