Hats off to …

We are grateful to the Jr. Girl Scout Troop # 3100, who invited some Girl Scout Brownie troops to a lock-in at St. Mark Catholic School in Huntersville as a way to earn their Bronze Award.  This ambitious group of Junior Girl Scouts and Brownies assembled over 100 goodie bags and donated party favors to our party programs. There’s no stopping the power of girls!

Angie Benton put a yoga-rific spin on downward facing dog recently.  On June 27, she taught a gentle, restorative donation-only yoga class to benefit Birthday Blessings at Gotta Yoga Studio in the University City area.  “It was a beautiful practice, as we maintained our intention on love and compassion!” said Angie, who raised $101 for Birthday Blessings.  Check out Angie’s website here.

We couldn’t be happier to share news from Williamson’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Mooresville.  This caring congregation donated a whopping 522 items, including candy necklaces, party supplies and treat bags.

Thanks to everyone for your support.  We couldn’t do it without you!
